Facial Scar Revision

Facial scars can be surgically minimized to become less conspicuous. Typically, this requires a two-stage procedure. First, the scar is re-excised to contour smooth regular edges. After the healing is complete, the skin is treated with laser or dermabrasion to level out any irregularities. If the scar is longer than an inch or so, it will be reduced into multiple smaller scars to make it less conspicuous.
